Turn a staff list into hundreds of contact cards
Making one digital business card is a two-minute job. Making one per employee, conference speaker, or event guest isn't — not by hand. This mode of the bulk workspace takes a spreadsheet of names and contact details and generates a real, scan-to-save vCard QR code for every row, in one pass.
How it works
Upload your list
Names, titles, phone numbers, emails — whatever columns you already have.
Switch to vCard mode
The column mapping changes to contact fields, and guesses the right column for each one first.

What your spreadsheet needs to look like
Any CSV with a header row works — you map your own column names to the right fields, or let the tool guess. A first name (or a company name, for a shared department card) is the only thing that's actually required; everything else is optional. A typical staff-directory sheet looks like this:
| First | Last | Company | Title | Phone | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Amit | Sharma | Acme Events | Sales Director | +1 555 010 2200 | amit@acmeevents.com |
| Priya | Nair | Acme Events | Account Manager | +1 555 010 2201 | priya@acmeevents.com |
| Diego | Ramos | Acme Events | Operations Lead | +1 555 010 2202 | diego@acmeevents.com |
Website and address columns are also supported, mapped the same way, if your sheet has them.
Who this is for
- Conference and event badges — a code per attendee or speaker, generated from the registration list you already have, ready to lay out on a printable badge sheet.
- Staff directories — every employee gets a personal contact QR for an intranet page, an email signature, or a printed directory.
- Sales and field teams — order everyone's business card QR codes in one batch instead of generating each rep's individually.
- Franchise and multi-location businesses — a consistent, correctly formatted contact card for every location manager or point of contact.

Questions
What columns does my spreadsheet need?
Only a first name (or a company name) is required. Last name, company, job title, phone, email, website and address are all optional and simply left out of the contact card if the column is blank or missing.
Do I need to format the CSV in a special way for vCard mode?
No — any column headers work, since you map each one to the right field yourself (or let it auto-guess). It doesn't need to match any fixed template.
What contact format does each code produce?
vCard 3.0 — the same format the individual vCard generator uses, and the one with the broadest support across iPhone, Android and desktop scanning apps. Scanning any code from a batch prompts "Save contact" with that row's details already filled in.
Can I generate WiFi codes in bulk the same way?
Yes — switch "QR code type" to WiFi instead of vCard, and map an SSID/password column pair per row. Useful for a hotel or office setting up per-room or per-desk WiFi cards from one spreadsheet.
How many contact cards can one batch produce?
The free plan exports up to 20 codes per batch. A $7 Batch Pass covers one file and worksheet up to 5,000 codes; $39 lifetime Pro supports unlimited batches. Import files must be under 20 MB, and practical job size depends on browser memory.
What do I get back — one file, or one per person?
One SVG or PNG per row, each individually named from whichever column you map as the filename, all packed into a single ZIP download.
Is my staff or guest list uploaded anywhere?
No. The spreadsheet is parsed, the vCards are built, and the QR codes are rendered entirely in your browser tab — none of it is sent to a server.
How is this different from the regular bulk QR generator?
Same tool, different mode. The default mode encodes whatever's in your mapped column as a plain link or text. Switching to vCard mode changes the column mapping to contact fields (name, phone, email, etc.) and builds a real, properly formatted contact card per row instead of a link.
