How it works
- Fill in your name at minimum — every other field is optional and only shows up in the saved contact if you fill it in.
- Watch the live preview build as you type, so you can catch a typo before it's printed.
- Decide what's safe to include publicly — your address and personal cell number are optional for a reason.
- Download the SVG for a crisp print on a physical card, or the PNG for a digital signature or slide.
Good to know
- Only include fields you're comfortable being scanned by anyone who has the printed card — home address is genuinely optional.
- Test the code with both iPhone and Android before a print run. Most scanners handle vCard 3.0 well, but a quick check catches surprises early.
- If your title or company name changes, you'll need to generate and reprint — a vCard QR, like any static code, can't be edited after printing.
- Keep the phone number in a consistent format (e.g. +1 555 123 4567) so it saves correctly as a dialable number, not plain text.

What happens when someone scans it?
Their phone offers to save your details as a new contact — name, company, phone, email and website all filled in, nothing retyped.
Which contact format does this use?
vCard 3.0 — the format with the broadest support across iPhone, Android and desktop scanning apps.
Can I put this on a printed business card?
Yes — download the SVG for a clean vector print at any size. That's the main reason people use this over just texting someone their number.
I need this for a whole team, not just me.
The bulk workspace takes a CSV of names, titles, phone numbers and emails and generates one vCard QR per row.
Can I leave out my company or address?
Yes — first and last name are the only fields that shape the contact card meaningfully; everything else is optional and simply omitted if left blank.
Can I update my details after the card is printed?
No — like any static QR, your details are encoded directly into the pattern. Changing anything means generating a new code and reprinting.
Is this the same as Apple Wallet or Google Wallet contact cards?
No — this creates a standard vCard that any phone's default camera or contacts app can read and save. It doesn't require Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, or any specific app.
